Damyanitza JSC, established in 1940, is located in South West Bulgaria - the valey of Struma river. This is the sunniest and wormest grape-producing region of Bulgaria, with many hills and soils of volcanic origin.
Damyanitza produces wines from the unique local brand Wide Melnik vine, also known as Melnik as well as wines from the brands Caberne Sauvignon, Merlot,Caberne Fran and others.
The company is well established producer of red wines mainly in the categories higher than premium and is one of the few Bulgarian wine-makers of wines in the category ultra premium.
Damyanitza successfuly exports its wines to Germany, Finland, the Czech Republic, Sweden, Denmark, Austria and other foreign countries. The company is also official importer for Bulgaria of the companies Grands Chais De France (GCF) and Lichtenberger Feine Spirituosen GmbH.
